ON-SITE AUCTIONS
There are places in which every room tells a story.
This format is made for them.
Whether in the context of an estate, a move, a separation, or simply the desire to turn a page, Philocale travels to organise the auction of the entire contents of a property—furniture, works of art, paintings, household effects, vehicles, garden equipment…
To sell objects within their original setting is to grant them an added soul—and to awaken, among bidders, an interest that the saleroom might not always inspire. On-site sales draw a local audience with a taste for heritage, as well as buyers who do not ordinarily cross the threshold of an auction house.
